MAKE ROOM FOR CRAFT
Make local. Connect Local.
My friends Manasvi, Harshika and I are very excited to share with you an initiative that we have been working on the last couple of months. We wanted to create an intimate set-up to introduce our jewelry and craft to the local community, engage in conversations and get to know each other. And hence we created "MAKE ROOM FOR CRAFT"!! Conceived as a small creative pop-up shop with a warm setting, will be featuring 2 to 5 artists at a time, giving opportunities for personal narratives to be shared. We intend to host it collaborating with other artists and makers, on a regular basis in different towns in the Bay area.
It gives us great pleasure to invite you to our first shows for "Make Room for Craft" in Palo Alto and Los Gatos. Please join us for an evening of artful conversations and handcrafted jewelry!
Saturday, June 8th, 2019
4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Bistro Maxine, 548 Ramona Street
PALO ALTO
Friday, June 14th, 2019
4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Nantucket Loft, 222 N. Santa Cruz Avenue
LOS GATOS
For these two events, the three of us will be showcasing our work. A little bit about us:
Manasvi is the sole designer and creator of ‘Saeyri'. ‘Saeyri’ means poetry and it perfectly expresses her love for rhyming her Indian heritage with contemporary, bold and fun designs. Seeking inspiration from all the things around, her work incorporates shapes, textures, and patterns in unusual and timeless ways.
Harshika Amin conceptualized trivial PURSUITS. It is an artisan label centered in the core beliefs and values she holds as an Architect, Dancer, and Maker. The jewelry she makes weaves together her experience and interest in the fields of Design, Visual Art, Photography and Writing while examining them under the lens of Craft.

Elina Peduzzi creates jewelry inspired by her love for history, travels, and world cultures, bringing together unique elements of the past into the present. Combining fabrication and casting, her work fuses ancient techniques with a contemporary and minimalist urban vibe.
