Today, I should have been at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C, putting together my booth, part of the Smithsonian Craft Show 2020. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the beloved event has been postponed until October. The good news, however, is that their Online Auctionis happening this week!
From April 22 to April 28 you will be able to bid on a big variety of amazing pieces donated by the artists participating in the show this year. 100% of the profit will go directly to support grants to the Smithsonian Institution.
You can access the auction here:
I contributed these two pieces, a pair of oxidized silver hoop earrings with gold-plated pendants and a gold-plated bronze bracelet.
Biding on the Smithsonian Craft Show Online Auction is a great thing to do while quarantined! Have fun!
It gives us great pleasure to invite you to our first shows for "Make Room for Craft" in Palo Alto and Los Gatos.
